Given my hectic work schedule, I’ve searched for a long time for a company that could help me care for my Victorian house. I wanted a group that I could absolutely trust and one that could provide planned or emergency services, small or large, on a 24/7 basis. I finally found what I needed with FirstCall Residential! I am confident that their staff and business partners are trustworthy and knowledgeable. They have covered a wide variety of (services) projects for me involving plumbing, masonry, electrical work, HV/AC and more – even arranging the purchase and delivery of appliances. What a relief not to have to coordinate my work schedule with a refrigerator delivery! Their detailed home inspection and ongoing maintenance plan is a valuable way for me to protect the investment I’ve made in my home. FirstCall Residential knows more about my house than I do! If I didn’t have their coverage, I would be left on my own to figure out what needs to be done. They are able to proactively prevent problems whereas I was typically stuck in reaction mode. Better to prevent a leak than to have to fix it after the fact! With their help, my work/life balance has improved significantly. When I bought my Cambridge home in 2014, at the open house there were exhaustive maintenance documents and a brochure from FirstCall Residential displayed on the dining room table.  Of course, a bidding contest ensued that weekend.  Without the option of a home inspection, I could see how well-cared-for the home had been and I felt comfortable upping…and upping again…my offer, ultimately paying more than 30% over asking price.  After closing on the house, one of my first acts was to sign-on with FirstCall Residential, with whom we remain happy clients 9 years later.
